Happy New Year. Bring on 2023!

Greetings, Romance readers!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday break and that this post finds you inspired and ready to face 2023 with a fresh heart and mind.

I have taken some time these holidays to take stock of what it is I really want to achieve with my writing. I’ve been getting side tracked with other activities in the past year. As a mother of three girls, and volunteering at my local gymnastics club time slips away and before you know it it’s 2023 already.

So I’ve decided to start treating my writing like a school assignment that has to be in by the set deadline. To achieve this I’ve set some goals for this year. They include:

  • Setting aside time each day to write
  • Create a network of other authors, readers, and publishers I can call on for help and support
  • Read books from other authors to stay current on the industry (I only managed to read 1 book last year)
  • Get back in touch with my local writing group and attend meetings
  • Create an online presence to share my work with the world mainly Tiktok, but I do use Facebook and have a twitter account and of course my website!

On the book writing side of the equation I will finish and publish “Teach Me to Dance”, my contemporary romance about a woman in her latter years that takes up dancing again after getting out of a traumatic relationship, and tries as hard as she might to avoid falling for her dance teacher.

I also want to finish the second book to my “Child of Light and Fire” series that sees Raith and Sera travelling all over the world to stop the demons. Sera discovers a secret about Raith that he’s been hiding from her, as she continues to learn how to control her strengthening powers.

I’ll keep posting updates on how these two books are progressing. In the meantime if you haven’t already, check out the first book in the Child of Light and Fire series, “Between Heaven and Hell” now available in paperback.

Available on all Ebook platforms and Paperback from Amazon or from me directly. Email me if you would like a signed copy for $19.99 plus shipping.

Happy reading!
